Yamal, after turning in an impressive hour off the bench, grabbed a richly deserved goal for Barca to send his side to the Supercopa final. In second half stoppage time, he received an angled poke from Joao Felix, before sweeping his effort into the bottom corner — across a sprawling goalkeeper.

Yamal was on the bench at kick-off, but came on for the injured Raphinha late in the first half. He rewarded his manager's faith — and made his case for a start — by turning in a scintillating showing and scoring his second Barca goal.
